A group of ASB students have developed their own search engine.  This is a great starting point for conversations about making informed choices about which search sites to use for different purposes and using multiple search tools to get the best result.  

Yesterday and today Mr. Shaw from the local cantonal police department is here to talk to Grade 9 about swiss law in general and digital safety. He has affirmed simple but powerful steps to manage online communication and identity that are covered in our UbU badge such as:

• Manage privacy settings, including location settings
• Take a second look at user agreements
• Don’t post items online that your grandmother would not be proud of

Spammers are quite creative these days with how they obtain your personal information or infect your devices with viruses. Please be extra vigilant clicking on emails and when downloading information.
